BIMTEC collaborates on the BIM A+

We are partnering with BIM A+ to support training and education across Europe in engineering, architecture, construction, and technological design.

Selected by the European Union and funded by Erasmus+, the BIM A+ European Master in Building Information Modelling will facilitate opportunities for Europeans to study, train, and volunteer abroad. With this partnership we aim to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical BIM, and delivers tangible benefits to all stakeholders.

With BIMTEC’s support of the programme managers and partners, BIM A+ is set to become a pivotal Master’s programme in the EU. With our unique offering and ability to deliver in-house training in a unified BIM environment, we have shaped a sophisticated platform to be fully exploited in our collaboration with BIM A+.

Students will have the opportunity to attain peak levels of knowledge in BIM in a research-oriented environment. Further collaborations with industry experts are also in place for this ground-breaking initiative.

BIMTEC expands its Laser Scanning Equipment Portfolio

As part of our ongoing commitment to expanding our scanning capabilities, we have adopted the RTC 360 scanner from Leica. This new equipment, added to our current portfolio of scanners, enables us to deliver faster, more accurate scans to our clients. The main innovative features of Leica RTC 360 scanners are:

• Capturing scans, including enriched High-Dynamic Range (HDR) imagery, in less than two minutes.
• Automatically recording moves from station to station to pre-register your scans in the field without manual intervention.
• Augmenting data capture with information tags illustrating the opportunities for better planning, reflecting site reality, and boosting teams’ situational awareness.
